Two Year Limited Warranty
Best Stone and Kitchen, Inc. hereby warrants
its cabinets including drawer glides and hinges to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use to the
original consumer purchaser for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase.
This
warranty applies only to the cabinets sold by Best Stone and Kitchen, Inc. and used in single-family, non-rental,
non-commercial residences. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners.
This warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, negligence, mishandling, improper installation, storage, assembly
or disassembly, product modification or alteration, and transportation. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear,
environmental condition such as moisture or heat-related damage, abuse and intentional damages.
As with other natural materials, wood is affected by environmental factors such as natural and artificial lighting, moisture
and temperature. Natural and environmental factors will affect cabinet products over time. Color changes may occur in the
finished wood products as a result of exposure to light and other elements which are part of the aging process. Each wood
species also exhibits its own distinctive patterns and characteristics which add to its natural beauty. These variations in
color and grain pattern are natural characteristics of wood rather than imperfections or defects. This warranty does not cover
the natural aging of wood and changing of wood color nor does it apply to the material variation of characteristics of wood.
This warranty is not valid for products used for any purpose other than the purpose
for which they were originally intended. Should defects in material or workmanship exist during this warranty period, Best
Stone and Kitchen, Inc. will elect at its discretion to either repair or replace the defective material or component covered
by this warranty. This warranty does not cover costs for removal, installation, subsequent damage or transportation of the
defective product and related items such as cabinets, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, appliances or related materials, or
any labor costs.
Best Stone and Kitchen, Inc. periodically updates and makes changes to its product line and specifications. If a warranty
claim is filed against obsolete or changed product, Best Stone and Kitchen, Inc. will replace the part(s) under warranty with
a new part of the same style or with a similar style currently offered. Best Stone and Kitchen, Inc. cannot be held responsible
for replacement product that may not exactly match installed product.
Open Joints
Seasonable changes in temperature and humidity
naturally cause wood to expand and contract, especially here in New England area. Our cabinet's face frame, door and drawer
front are made of real wood and are no exception. This natural process will cause joint separation. This will be more noticeable on a painted door over
a stained door. An open joint line is not considered a defect and it is widely accepted
in the kitchen cabinetry industry. The finish will still protect the surface, and the structural integrity of the joint will
not be affected. These issues are shared by every manufacturer of all wood cabinets, and are not unique to our cabinets. Wood
may expand and contract differently from cabinet to cabinet. Even joints within the same cabinet may behave differently. Some
joined wood may not show any joint lines, others may be slightly visible, while others may display easily visible joint lines.
Joint lines also may occur due to the repeated impacts from normal everyday use. This warranty does not cover the open joint
lines due to the natural process of wood expansion and contraction.
Discoloration
Natural woods may vary in texture, color, wood grain, and exhibit subtle changes as they age. Sunlight, smoke, moisture,
household cleaners and other environmental conditions may cause materials to very from their original colors. These variations
are the nature of the material in relation to its environmental exposure. All paints, especially lighter colors, are susceptible
to discoloration due to airborne particles such as cooking, grilling, tobacco smoke, fireplaces or candles. Prolonged exposure
to natural or artificial light may alter the finish color. Moisture may also discolor the finish. This warranty does not cover
the color changes due to above mentioned factors.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING THE
IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS
WARRANTY. THIS
WARRANTY
EXCLUDES ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
This warranty is only valid in the United States
of America. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. All the claims must be in writing and must include a copy
of the original dated sales receipt or invoice as proof of purchase and the evidence of defected items such as pictures. To
